PRINCE2 Practitioner Training
The PRINCE2 Practitioner training course comprises of the following elements:
- Review and revision sessions of key elements of the PRINCE2 project management methodology
- Sample PRINCE2 Practitioner exam questions, combined with answer and discussion review sessions, with exam technique guidance led by the trainer
Certification Exam
The aim of the PRINCE2 Practitioner certification exam is to assess a participant’s ability to apply PRINCE2 on a given scenario.
The exam is a 2.5-hour scenario-based exam. It is an open book exam where participants are permitted to access during the exam an official copy of the PRINCE2 manual: PRINCE2 Managing Successful Projects. The Practitioner exam comprises of 70 questions, where 42 or more correct answers are required to achieve PRINCE2 Practitioner certification.

The PRINCE2 Practitioner certification exam is completed as an online exam. Candidates select their exam date and time based on available slots. Exams are taken online from the candidate’s own location using a webcam exam proctor, where an invigilator will be observing them take the exam.
When completing Foundation & Practitioner in-person training, both exams can be taken after the Practitioner training course.

Practitioner exam pre-requisites
The PRINCE2 Foundation certification is a pre-requisite to completing the PRINCE2 Practitioner certification exam.
